Main quest is listed as an option, so I guess Dragonborns are okay.

Oh great. NPC Dragonborns are always great fun, too.

Er, Illia gains a respectable number of points in Sneak - it never gets extremely high, but at level cap of 40 she has approcimately level 44 Sneak (which is pretty respectable, in my opinion). Would this be considered a major skill? Minor skill? I'm not sure how "true" to the character it would be to select Sneak perks... she does have a rather sordid past.

Shouts are fine, I see no reason why any othre NPC couldn't also become Dragonborn.  I mean, if Ulfric can learn to shout then anyone can do it ;P

Agreed, Shouts should be fine in case people want to do...well  Dragonborn or the Main Quest, I dunno does Dawnguard need a shout at any point? I don't think it does but there are defintiely a few other quests that require them (not to mention a lot of Quest Mods use Shouts) so blocking them off doesn't fit for the Event or really a Lore point of view (you could even RP meditating on them before using a Dragon Soul to really feel like your learning them if there's an issue someone has with... say J'zargo being Dragonborn).

Solyeuse, my basic understanding of the rules are that the Major Skills are what's listed on UESP as their Primary Skills so Eola would get Destruction, Sneak, Alteration and One-Handed. What you do with those skills shouldn't matter as long as you stick to them and the level cap. If you really wanted to you could twist your character into a Nightblade/Assassin or a Spellsword or really whatever you want as long as it fits within their skill set.

Hope that answered the question, you've got a fair amount of freedom with this Event because it'd be a lot harder (and at times less interesting) if we had to 100% stick to the followers stats, skills, whatever equipment they have when you find them, morality, etc.

Consider it done Chris, an interesting choice that is.

I just wanted to ask, whether you're still having that issue with uploading stuff (where you need to upload the Google Doc and have someone copy/paste it). If so, I'm open to help, both in the CB Group and if you wanted to post it as a WiP at some point.

Hey guys, would you mind putting me down for Derkeethus instead? I tried Barbas, and it just wasn't right.

  • June 2, 2017

Fair enough Puff, consider it done and good luck with Derkeethus, I mean, sure Barbas was an interesting choice and all but I think Derkeethus is an interesting choice and maybe a little easier to roll with.

Don't know if I'll have time to crank it out or not, but I've never done a modder's log, and it looks like fun--I'll give this a whirl:

    Faendal (Ordinator)
