Welcome to the Fallout Lore Archives, a database maintained and updated by the Brotherhood of Steel Scribes and available for widespread access to any and all lands that have been pacified and made safe* by our valuable, valiant and courageous Knights and Paladins. In here you may find all the recovered knowledge of the Old World and all the recorded knowledge of what has been named by popular convention as "The Wasteland", a territory which our Scribes have yet to the determine the exact lenght.

Through an all new software developed by our Technology department, we have created a system where everyone with an access to the Database is able to contribute to our archives and add their own work and research, following our user-friendly guidelines. We are always looking for new pieces of information and new people willing to contribute to the creation of the Wasteland's biggest and best encyclopedia

Last but not least, we would like to congratulate and thank our art designer, a Scribe of Art that goes by the username of Blooded, who was responsible for the headers you see in this page.

*We have yet to the determine if the Commonwealth and its inhabitants are ready to receive such sofisticated system. Enlist today and help us spread Steel-like justice and education!

Is there any lore for the Institute, Minute Men or the Railroad? I'm starting a new game and trying to figure out which faction to join.

Oh boy. I realize now some links are dead (are they all dead?). I'll ask permission to update them. But anyway, as far as I can remember, from back when I used to be more up to date with things in the Vault, there was only one discussion that delved into Institute lore directly, although it had more to do with game allegory: https://tamrielvault.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/13/topic_id/8057

You can also ask any questions you may have regarding lore here: https://tamrielvault.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/13/topic_id/7489
