    Yes.

    Well that's a damned shame.

I think it could work with the vampire lord form, as it changes your race. Drinking a philter + draught + philter, turning into vampire lord and turning back to mer form should re-aply the 50+ magicka, eventualy providing the desired 0.4.
You could even go further and equip another item with 50 magicka on it. This would give you the glitch and about 230 magicka or whatever.
You'll have to test this on your own.

I'll run some experiments and let you know.

Sure. You could use the Atronach stone as the second source of magicka.

I'm going to be using this in a build!  You know, the one I'm putting screenshots up about lately.

So is it absolutely certain that we cannot put points into stamina and magicka if we're wanting to use this?  Or can it be done with higher base magicka sometimes, with the right item combos?  And what effect will equipping other Fortify Magicka items (without prior Resto drinking) have?  I've heard mixed results on that.  For example, will I end up having to equip Ring of the Erudite + Mage Circlet in order to cast higher-order spells, then unequip them whenever I want to use an unlimited ward?

The first answer is yes, you definitely can't put any points into Magicka if your using this, same with Stamina if your using Unlimited Stamina.

For the second one, basically what you'd have to do is have 1 set item that gives you the Unlimited Bonus (Galdur's Amulet for example), after you've achieved Unlimited Concentration Casting, you can equip other Fortify Magicka items (Not sure, but they might have to be full numbers, so you couldn't use Fortify Resto to boost them) and still have UCC active and working fine.

Ideally, I would use 100 base magicka and the Gauldur amulet to activate the glitch, then equip lots of items with fortify magicka after the restoration potion wears off. No necro mage or anything to mess up the whole numbers. My goal here is to be able to use unlimited concentration casting with wards, sparks, and later lightning storm, but also be able to conjure storm Atronach and dual cast ebony flesh without the use of fortify magicka potion.

I've posted about this before somewhere and it's definitely possible. Use the philter, draught, philter potion stack with two +50 magicka items to get into the higher range of allowed numbers. Then once the fortify restoration has worn off load on as much extra +magicka as you can get away with. The key is in the ranges of allowed numbers, see earlier in this conversation for more details. There may be another even higher range but if there is its not been found as far as I know. Edit: just seen that you specifically wanted to use the gauldur amulet, that will end up limiting what you can achieve. Can you not just equip that as part of the extra equipment after? If you want unlimited stamina as well you can always set that up separately using some +stamina boots for example.

It needs to be the Gauldur Amulet, for a couple of reasons:

    1. It works for both stamina and magicka

    2. You'll see!

So I am hoping it's possible to equip more fortify magicka after the restoration potion wears off, without breaking the unlimited casting.  I guess storm atronachs can eventually be dropped to low enough magicka with enough skill and the expert perk, but dual-casting an ebonyflesh is still a concern.
