I´ll try to compile these tonight, but cool stuff here.

First: An Orc Psijic. Damn. That´s quite awesome actually.

Regarding her age this either confirms the theory that magic users can expand their lifespan through magic that doesn´t have to be necromancy or such foul rituals. Maybe restoration. Second option is that it´s Artaeum itself, the island is all kinds of fucked up with it sort of being outside of time and space (I think, still haven´t visited it, so looking forward to that). Third option could be the Psijic Mysticism itself which deals a lot with time and space as Skyrim showed and the Psijic Skill line in ESO sort of confirms that.

And Justiciar. Above bailiff but below chief justiciar or magistrate. Good thing to know. Have you encontered any of the previously mentioned Jurisreeves or revelators, Phil?

    Now for the Vocabulary.

De´nt - Maormer de´nts. Clearly some kind of insult. Would be bold to compare it to s´wit?

    Adma´na - poor listener.

    Good stuff, Phil, good stuff.

I think Psijics make me the most curious, you know how I love my magic and magic learning. So yeah, want to get there as soon as possible.

Anyway, since you're showing only the standard Altmer, Phil, I'm gonna go with some underground filth, hehehe. Meet Mother of Rats, one damn hot chick and leader of Shimmerene's underground of aprax Elves. She's definitely not your standard Altmer, just by the looks.

So she became an aprax by forging a document and when asked about that...

So there's this bit of calian - praxic talisman. Something that proves you're a fine ass citizen or whatever. So do they have to wear it like all the time?

The Psijic skills are what made me want to start a new character so I haven't done many of the quests except enough to unlock the first skill. It's quite a time investment so I figured it best to do it on a character who has the whole world before him than one who has done most of it. But, man, even though they are basically fetch quests, The Augur of the Obscure is great and little snippets/reasons why the time breaches exist is already exciting! But even without pursuing that side of things, just visiting Artaeum and soaking all that in is a incredible. I no noubt missed a fair bit of ineteresting stuff about magic and so forth.

Revelators and jursireeves... Were they the detectives in the case of the Ghost of the Green? What was that term they named you? Yeah, that was an interesting and fun quest, especially how they used to use necromancy to solve crimes or reveal clues. I really liked that bit.

Going for the seedy and darker side Karver :D I found this gal to be mildly arousing. I mean, look at the way she sits!

That reminds me, I haven't visited the Outlaw's Refuge in Alinor, and am now curious as to whether there is any interesting dialogue there. The criminal underworld seems to get a a lot of tacit support from tyhe nobilty. It's like, the pressures in the strive for perfection lead to the Altmer bigwigs to get into all sorts of taboo stuff as an outlet, such as that Indrik heart-eating stuff and this:

    8A4C694DE7E1FC6435004CF7E9250C40D376CB4B (1360×768)

I bet the altmer nobility are into some kinky shit.

Well, didn't get to compiling what we got so far, but did take some additional pics and such.

So first we've got two additions to the wildlife:

Welva (those familiar with Craglorn should be familiar with this creature)

Reef Viper (as if snakes weren't scary enough, now they can fly and swim too)

    Landscape

These here are the corals on the beach south of Shimerene, the location is called Coral Forest

    Artaeum and Ceporah Tower

Now some Psjjj time. Some shots of Artaeum and right of the bat you can notice the...sort of protective dome over it. One of the Psijics says that the location of Artaeum is nearly impossible to explain, but it is clear that the island is not "here". In my opinion it could imply the island is sort of moving outside time and space as I mentioned earlier, what is clear is that we probably won't get a better answer to how exactly the island moves and where.

Small detail about how Psijics water their flowers - you know, since water hoses weren't invented yet. Storm Atronach si better anyway... :D

Also, regarding the books. Apparently the Ceporah Tower houses eigh-hundred and sixty-three libraries. LIBRARIES! Eat that Crystal-Like-Tampon!

Also, the word ceruval popped up again and now I'm not so sure if it means stranger. Maybe it's some kind of honorific? Polite adressing like "sir" or such?

And that's all for now, I will do more stuff later.

Another word I encountered was cerum and it was used in the sentence: "You should take time to explore the tower, cerum." It was said very politely, so cerum could be friend or something along those lines?

Then I there was a word glan'nt used in a sentence: "These glan'nts think they can double cross me? I'll show them true suffering!" So, beside the obvious moustache-twitching glan'nt could possible be a fool?

Now we move to the jurisreeves and relevators which I mentioned before. So there are two of these jurisreeves and they need a third guy to act as a neutral party. Even this has a name in their language and it is admanen, the meaning being listening eye.

Also, this bit about Divine Prosecution is interesting:

And this part about owning a land:

Now let's move to the jurisreeves. Apparently, jurisreeves are investigators or detectives if you like and it is very common for them to use magic in their line of work. One of the jurisreeves is your regular detective, having just her wits, but her companion is one of those magic using jurisreeves and he calls himself a death seer. Here, take a look:

Little piece about Altmeri memory too:

All High-Elves have photographic memory? That's scary... and quite useful in certain areas. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Interesting stuff about the Divine Prosecution, especially how in-depth the DLC goes about them. You know, the Penitus Oculatus of the Fourth Era also used magic in their investigations as shown in the Elder Scrolls novels.

Storm Atronaches for watering plants... why not? Do they employ Frost Atronaches to keep their food refrigerated too?

The idea of Artaeum existing outside space and time is not far fetch really. The Mantella Crux was an example of a self-contained world existing outside of our plane of existing. Artaeum is just on a larger scale. Though this begs the question of how powerful the Psijics are...

There are several types of high-functioning memory, some are way better to have than others. There is Eidetic Memory, which is what you know as photographic memory. There is also Hyperthymesiacs,  Mnemonists, Savants, etc. It makes me very curious how Altmer handle memory disorders or how they view those whose memory is on the decline?

Nice additions Karver! I like those friendly words, cerum and ceruval. In context, it looks like ceruval is more formal. So maybe cerum is like mate whereas ceruval is like friend? It's worth mentioning to anyone reading that these words are all said with a hard c to make a k sound. Keporah Tower, Kerum, Keruval etc...

Man, have you seen that book in Ceporah Tower about Sotha Sil and the Scribe? :D

The Divine Prosecution have become the best thing ever, right? That quest is a doozy, I'm pretty sure I have shots of the lady's dialogue regarding that taboo death-seeing magic. I missed the significance of the landowner and how owning the land almost makes one king of it, though. That's very interesting.

Memory... That comes up in a book, too. The Price of Praxis, which is also cool in that it sheds a bit more light on how apraxic mer are treated within elven society - if the whole Mother of Rats quest hadn't made it clear enough, like.

Me and Lis are inclined to compare ceruval to the Dunmeri sera, in which case it is something like sir or just respectful address.

Hmm. No, haven't read that book. Was kinda busy staring at all the floating books around me :D You got picture of it?

Yes, the death-seeing magic bit was hot damn interesting. It wasn't a necromancy per say, more of a grey-area, and very interesting to see Altmer using that.

And yes, Price of Praxis. Lis just mentioned it to me, but didn't have a moment to read it yet. Definitely on my list.

As of now I'm sorta soaking in the time fuckery going around with Psijics, also mindscapes and ugly ass Sloads and all that. And Augur of the Obscure is quite a hilarious guy. I sure hope I can keep him :D

That's fair, soaking the Psijic stuff is definitely a good way to spend time. I just noticed that Price of Praxis is written by someone called Ceruval Rolumaril. Maybe sir is more appropriate as it seems to be a sort of title. But I guess it could just as easily mean wanderer or traveler, perhaps.
