Actually you pretty much have it Karver, I think the Khajiit are right, that the Dark Moon is the actual corpse of Lorkhan and that Manni used the ritual\dragon break to steal it.

Which would make sense because he used Tiber Septim's Totem, right? Eh, lol. If he was walking in Tiber's steps, wouldn't it mean he was basicaly trying to Mantle Talos but ended up with second seat? Crazy and unlikely, but still... But yeah, I like the idea of Dark Moon already existing before and Manny Mantling it.

This is what happens when you mess with robots gods designed to cancel out reality. Turning this thing on breaks Time. The dragon was broken and it took a while to put him back together. All endings in Daggerfall are true because they all happened. Mannimarco did ascend to godhood. He also didn't.

What we see in Oblivion is Mannimarco. The one and only Altmer Lich. He is also the Necromancer's Moon. When you mess with time, shit starts making less sense. It isn't some incarnation or avatar, it isn't some imposter. He is both a God and not.

They conduct research and investigate magic and magical phenomenon while striving for the Elder Council's favor. Sounds like some real life agencies. While I doubt much of this has to do with spying on governments, it is none the less intelligence gathering for the benefit of the ruling party.

Oh, right. Yeah, you are definitely right here. They both are Imperial institutions and they are competing for Emperor or Elder Council´s favor. I definitely can see them spying on each other, or conducting investigations in magical affairs. I was wondering what was your angle and this one is really good.

Its hard to say with so few details about who survived the vardenfell eruption. Genuinely curious now
