    Hmm...

Damn, now this got me all distracted; trying to figure out if there's a way to bump this a notch by doing away with the light armor entirely.

    Great discovery at any rate!

I'll have to double check the numbers but I think with a fortify resto potion, necromage vamp, 100 alchemy and 100 enchanting plus the 5 pieces of enchanted alchemy gear for the potion I was able to get real close to the armor cap with a single cast greater ward. This was in conjunction with mage armor and the lord stone

It's probably already well-known, but I found out a few months ago that wards can block Chaurus poison-spits.  Was excited as hell to discover that!  Those OP bugs...

I presume they also block frostbite spider poison.  Hmm, and since diseases are magic effects, they probably block those too?

They don't block diseases, because they are applied through melee combat. I'll add a note about Chaurus poison and yes, I think they should block Frostbite Spider poison too (I'll see what I can find on it)

But you won't have them at full strength, no? I mean, you do get the full AR but spells will destroy the wards easily
