"Do you have any ideas for what you'd like to do with Dibella?" This an open question anyone may answer, Deebs? I have a few thoughts on the matter.

Ah, sure why not. I've been wracking my head to figure out something to do with her for this build. I'd rather not end up doing something with Mara because, well, to be honest, we've got plenty of builds that look into aspects of Mara, but Dibella is a lot rarer. Usually, it ends up being a seductress type character or doesn't actually have much to do with her. But if you've got any ideas Phil, would love to hear about them.

Ok, cool! :D So with these gods and demons, one trick I do is to stop thinking about them as we know them and instead break them down into concepts or emotions. Dibella is what? We could say she is beauty, passion, and creativity given form and anthropomorphised. We know artists of all stripes revere her.

We can break those ideas down further and see what seperates her from Mara - for Dibella is also love, but a more youthful love. That feeling when the lady you crush on smiles at you? We call that "butterflies in the stomach." That's Dibella. In time you get to know one another, and those butterflies never go but they get augmented by something else, a certain contentment. That's Mara. Ideally, the Mara and Dibella feelings should never leave.

Ok, so what else. Umm, Passion. When we think of passion we might think of sex. But passion is intensity of emotion. It's firey, burns bright and fast. It's the morning quickie, or the rant in rage, or foundation stone of what will be a cause worth dying for.

Then there's the artistic side. Painters, poets, singers, architects, Character Builders, writers... anyone doing something creative feels Dibella. She's also quite rebellious. Like, you know you need to get up early in the morning, but you just need to finish this paragraph, or put the final touches on that project. Dibella is a muse, one who will keep you up long after you should settle down. So that makes her imagination, wild and free. She's freedom. Freedom to express, or explore, or that smell in the air as you step off the plane in your holiday destination.

I think it makes them fun to reinterpret when thought of like that. The wild, passionate pyromancer? Dibellan.  The alchemist  under Kyne's domain picking flowers and using her imagination to concoct new potions? Dibellan. The explorer on a quest to discover and map something nobody has seen before? Dibellan. The paladin embarking on a crusade, filled with passion and zeal? Dibellan. For me, the skills a themed build uses are unlimited - it's just how they're justified that counts.

Artistry huh... Now there's something I might be able to get behind. Let me think on that one. Oh I've got an idea there, yeah alright thanks Phil that's given me an insanely good idea for Dibella. Won't spoil too much of the build but yeah there are some solid ideas there Phil, thanks :D

Whoooo, alright time to get stuck in playing. Haven't managed much time for the last two days but time to throw on my tunes, get my snacks and put a good 4-hour play session into gear. Nearly finished the first third of my build, though I don't know how long the other two thirds will take.

Since I already have two builds running at the time I was considering not doing this, but I think it'll be a nice refresher for a change in combat rather than the sword and board I've been playing (which I might still end up changing lol). Anyways I'm thinking that I wanted to  experiment with Ordinator a bit more and didn't see any mod restriction bits on my once-over of the event...

Put me down for Lorkhan and Hircine. I think I have a pretty interesting prospect to bring to the table :-)

Absolutely no restrictions on mods dude would love to see some badass Ordinator builds come through :D Consider your name put down, and your build eagerly anticipated.

It's kind of interesting to me that so many of us jumped straight to Hircine and Lorkhan, I mean it's just pretty cool and I think so far we're all going to have pretty different builds. Will be cool to see in the end.

I hate you deebs. This theme of mini builds is right up my alley but instead of working on one I'm in Japan thinking angrily 'why didn't I bring my computer?' Anyway, sign me up for the next flash event already :)
