Why should it? Talos is an abomination of the Third Era. Shor son of Shor tells us the wars of the Ehlnofey and the Dawn Era.

I thought it kinda implies on the whole time. There are mentions of previous kalpas and all. The eternal war etc.

Would be cool to see what the other gods would think of him.

Talos isn't implied at all. He isn't relevant to the story.

That means that something must have drastically changed after he appeared. That story can't happen anymore, it would be different. Wouldn't it?

Damn, this is like ALL the Talos.

I know, Phil did an awesome job and then we went all cray cray on it. There is some funky s**t in this thread.

the Dragon will become ours to unbind. The world of mortals will be over. The Dragon will uncoil his hold on the stagnancy of linear time and move as Free Serpent again, moving through the Aether without measure or burden,

It's probably just my overactive thinking, but when I read this, I immediately thought of the Serpent constellation. It's like the actual Serpent constellation (which has no month or guardian and freely moves about the sky) and the "free, uncoiled" Dragon are mirror images. (hmm, brings me back to the two-headed Akatosh representation in Temples of Cyrodiil).

    How do you mean?

It sure is going to take some reading

Well, Shor son of Shor is basically all about the whole story repeating endlessly with Akatosh and Lorkhan ocasionally switching roles. It stems from the fact that they are kinda twin brothers, two halves in the Creation. If you put Talos in there, who replaces Lorkhan but isn't Lorkhan, it would mean that the whole setting is changed now, so the moment Talos appears in the picture begins another, new story.
