Is it possible to tie together hunting animals, raiding dungeons, and picking locks? For some reason, I'm averse to the idea of leveling up a skill to get a certain perk (Treasure Hunter), and then never using that skill again.

Well, not sure about the hunting animals part, but if you take inspiration from the Elf-Hewer then you can't go wrong. I know you're not after a build, but it may help present the lockpicking skills in a different way?

I just had a great idea! Maybe my character gets enchanted gear from plundering dungeons and chests, and sells what he doesn't need. There could also be a "progression" aspect like with the Elf-Hewer, and hunting animals is just a phase he goes through before moving on to something else.

EDIT: another great idea: The character does whatever strikes his fancy, be it hunting animals or exploring a Dwemer ruin. It seems like he's aimless, but his goal is to become a living repository for as much knowledge as possible, to be added to Apocrypha once he dies.

It would be quit difficult but possible. I imagine it'd be like an average character except for the feeling that you aren't you sometimes (like during combat you adopt the fighting styles of other Shezzarine) and/or visions of the lives of past Shezzarine.

Me too, but I'm not sure how to implement it.

Can somebody help me justify a neutral evil knight that uses runes and flesh spells joining the Dawnguard?

If he joins the Dawnguard, he can eliminate a very powerful potential rival, the Volkihar, and also have an army under his control.

I have zero imagination. I need an idea. Any help?
