OK, pet peeve time again. I think I've found the "enchanting" of Fallout. It's got to be the assigning of personnel to work on plants. How TEDIOUS.

LOL - what you'll probably find out is that you're either into settlement building or not. Many people love it, many people hate it...few are in the middle. What I usually do is setup a homebase somewhere...setup a recruitment beacon and after I get 4-5 settlers, turn off the beacon. Then assign them to defense and food and never think about it again.
The big thing for some characters is crafting chems, nades and drinks...and it's helpful to have a supply of clean water, mutfruit, corn, tatos and carrots at the very least (for making things like orange mentats, Dirty Wastelanders, and corn starch - which is basically adhesive). You can also secure a Brahmin or two by making a trough and Fertilizer will be added to your workshop automatically. Helpful for bomb crafting.

Holy hell. Just hit my first super mutant and got one-shot at level 13. Suggestions?
I'm a stealth based, pistol wielder, heavy into Agility.

lol armor is better than clothing?!
Yeah I'm a little suprised you'd get one-shot by a supermutant...normally they carry pipe rifles early on.

No clue what he hit me with. I had to use a sniper rifle to get anywhere close to range on him so it was way out. A missle maybe? And I'm wearing armor. Currently 49/48/10 on protection.

Nah, don't even know where the Hall is yet. Hangman's Alley (Minuteme) and Curtain Call (found radio signal while doing another MM quest at Back Street Apparel). The third was Troubled Waters (after visiting Greygarden).

So starting to look at mods. I got a pop up with NMM saying I need to follow some special steps for mods to work in Fallout. True or not? Never had to do that in other games.
