    That method isn't as efficient. It usually isn't considered murder because Beem-Ja can kill Salma if things are done correctly. She can also die fighting Gathrick.

    Steel plate set at level 1: 

    Go to pub in whiterun, beat woman in steel plate armor in boxing match, recruit as follower, take woman to guardian stones, KILL HER and loot the steel plate gear. You get a full set of steel plate gear sans helmet. 

    I use this method on my paladin characters even though it breaks rp.

    And also I have never found the fire souls enchant at iron bind. Is the enchant on the axe behind the throne or does warlord gathriik have it?

    This is a great idea for a guide Miraak!

    Just to help, another location for an ebony weapon (1 handed axe) is the barrow featured in the first Bards College quest "Tending the Flames" Olaf One-Eye always has one, AND a spectral bard helps you kill him, it might be slightly more manageable for low level players because of this. Im sorry I cant remember the name of that barrow offhand, but that quest will lead you straight to it.

    I hate killing friendly NPCs (strange I know) so having a "victimless" way of getting the armor is great!
