Awesome - I was wondering if anyone would catch the film reference!
As for the leather helm, I find it requires a certain amount of comfort in one's masculinity to wear most any of the light armor helmets. :P
Thanks for the Howard comparison! Skyrim of course borrows quite heavily from that traditional sword & sorcery mood we often associate with Conan, so I find most of the character builds I post here tend to easily fit in that atmosphere.

I do believe I found my next playthrough :) Great build Paul also love the Army of Darkness quote at the end one of my favorite movies of all time!

Having a blast with this build Paul at level 23 right now :) Found out that I could get Health Regen & Fortify Two Hand with just one potion! Emperor Parasol Moss (DB) + Fly Amantia + Juniper Berries its been my go to potion for most of my playthrough now :)

This is such a great build. I'm surprised it has not reached Mythic or Legendary at this point!
I just watched Conan the Barbarian last night, so I'm coming off a man crush.
When I get off work, I'm jumping right into gameplay with this character.

I've wanted to strip back to basics and play a streamlined barbarian character and I think I've found just what I've been looking for - which makes this the third Paul England build I've played!
Although I've used health regen in the past I've never actually used the Ring of Namira or had any desire to, but the way you've tied an ancient form of animism or fetishism to the eating of corpses is incredibly inspiring and really adds to the barbarian feel.
I can so clearly picture the "restless playstyle" you describe that it makes me want to jump straight into this! I was actually looking for something that made use of battle axes, especially the draugr ones because they look so much like a Dane great axe but I guess the Bloodskal Blade works better with your background.
Great job as always Paul
