So, will this get those stubborn grease stains out of my fine linens?

Quite interesting. :-) The "Level 30 Perks" is a bit misleading, at least for me. When I first read it I thought you're already maxed at Lv30. But your Two-Handed reached up to Sweep. Then I understood that 30 perks is all you need. I actually prefer those archetypes who really stick to what he is. I dont like putting Archery (if melee) or One/Two-Handed (if ranged) just so I'd have more perks. And with this build the potions you chug are done pre-combat (I hope it does, I'd be really disappointed if you chug potions mid-combat) so all you have to do is go nuts swinging your sword. Im a bit surprised you didnt go Deft Movement. Its the best Lv100 perk for armors. Reflect Blows is sht. Im very picky when it comes to a character's looks, and I must say I'm not digging the Forsworn Armor. Its one of my major concerns on builds. But hey, this aint about me, its about you, so overall, well done. :-)

Reflect Blows is great, everybody should try it!  I made a build that went that route - check out the Pit Fighter sometime.

As to the potion use, I have to say there were a *few* occasions where I had to use a Restore Health mid-combat, but those were the result of player error or just poor planning.  You know, sometimes that power attack just fails to connect, or the AI does some cheaty glitchy thing.  It was either that or stuff that could have been avoided if I'd remembered to use Slow Time.

I did. I in turn suggest reading James' discussion "How the perk 'Reflect Blows' work". Im on my phone so I cant link it. Its on the Tips and Tricks. Also, I think getting Quick Reflexes is not bad, unless the whole point of the build is soaking up damage.

Are you referring to the fact that you still take damage, even if that is reflected?  I know about that; no big deal, IMO, if you're tanky enough to take it.

Makes sense. Once again, great job!

Hmm, checked out James's read.  The big problem with Reflect Blows, then, isn't the fact that you take the damage, but that you actually mitigate the damage you're reflecting.  I don't think my Pit Fighter hit the armor cap at any rate, but still that's somewhat disappointing.

Well, if nothing else Reflect Blows is a form of passive damage you don't need to think about applying.  I'll probably still grab it again, if I play a HA-focused character.

As for Quick Reflexes, I love that perk, but it's so powerful... there's almost no need for armor if you have a good sense of timing and that perk.

That's not to say I didn't try to avoid damage with this character (footwork and all that), but I felt that dipping into the Block tree didn't fit for a super-aggressive type.

This is so fucking fantastic, Paul. Everyone should know by now I love a focused build, and this might be the single-most I've seen. Plus it's a goddamn barbarian and as far as I'm concerned there are very few - if any - better focuses to have. The minimalistic approach to backstory and gameplay just screams "jump right in" to me, and that's the kind of build I wanna play this deep into the game. This definitely gives Curse's Brute a run for its money at the top of my list of favorite barbarian/berserker builds. You've proven yet again why you're EASILY one of my own personal favorite builders here, bro. :)

You could recommend Armors for modded players. There's one, I can't remember the name of, but it either allows you to have a troll skull as a helmet, or have it on your side.

"Jump right in" is actually the way I played the character.  Not in terms of gameplay, but in terms of, "What do I want to do with the 2 hours I have to play before the kids wake up and I have to be Dad again?  I know!  Kill idiots and eat them!!!"  Yet another reason there are no special moves or intricate combos with this (or most any) of my builds.  It was a very ... well, "relaxing" probably isn't the appropriate word... but it was a fun way to spend some time. :D  Thanks for the kind words, man!
