Alright, thanks Caesar. I think the problem was how I created my character, lol. And I found a map of the Privateers hold. The only other question I have is about about the three bars. . . I would think stamina/health/magicka, but it seems like I die when the green one goes down. Is the green your health?

Oh, and I did a quest for a shopkeeper but the gold he gave me didn't go into my gold part, I found it in Clothing and Mosc and had to drop and re pick it up for it to go into Gold. Is this normal?

I'll have to check about the gold, but I'll let you know what I find. As for the Stat Bars, Daggerfall sort of had it backwards to the rest of the series; Green is Health, and Red is Stamina/Fatigue.

Guys how easy is it to use mods for Morrowind? I've never actually done it before. I've only ever used mods on Skyrim via Steam.

As someone who enjoys playing around with both mods and the Construction Set, I think I'll be able to help you out.

I find the Morrowind Nexus to be the easiest site to download mods from, so I'll explain how to use it first. First off, be sure to download the Nexus Mod Manager (NMM). I find it to be extremely helpful, as it pretty much does all the tricky bits for you. With it installed, you just have to click the Download (NMM) option near the top of the page, and everything should automatically go to the correct folders.

Note that some mods on the Nexus (As well as all mods from other sites) don't have an option to download with the NMM. For these, go to Download (Manual) instead, then chose the file you wish to download (The latest version is normally at the top of the list). Using this method, it should download just like a normal file.

It'll open in one of those Win.rar/7zip folder thingys, then you just need to copy all the files into your Morrowind/Data Files directory. It should come up with something asking if you want to merge the Meshes, Textures, etc. folders. Click yes, and the files should all be moved to there proper locations. Note that the mod itself (the .ESP file) should just be in the Data Files folder, while the rest should be in folders labelled Meshes, Textures, and Icons.

If you like, you can also take a look at my Mod List here in the Classics group, to see which mods I normally use.

Hope this helps, and that you enjoy using mods!

I hate Nexus Mod Manager, I can NEVER get it to work. Like I just tried it now and after it downloads it just does nothing when I click on it to get it to install.

OK since I can't get the stupid mods to work I'll just have to come up with some cool roleplay ideas. Can you guys help me come up with some quests\stats\armors?

    The ideas I had are:

    Ashlander Guerrilla Fighter

    Sith House Subversive

    Mystic Monk

Hey Caesar can you tell me how exactly to copy all the mod files over to the Morrowind Data Files?

    Sure thing, Veloth!

I did some searching, and found This Guide on the Morrowind Modding Wiki. It explains things fairly well (Much better than I could), and is aimed for the beginner, so I'd highly recommend giving it a read.

If you still have problems after that, just let me know. I'm sure we'll be able to get this working for you.
