  I actually found it easier on my survival character then I have on any other, admittedly I was a much higher level and most of the raiders didn't know I was there until the guy next to them hit the floor

  There is a mattress where u find Jared... I've hit a different roadblock. Saugus. Those forged bastards have some serious protection.

  I snuck up, lined the roadway with mines sniped the first two and still got rocked by the last two...and that's just outside! Bunt yeah jet... I also snagged a partial t60 set at the checkpoint by Finch farm. So that's an option too.

  I think I attacked at night and took out most of their sentries from a distance. There's some good cover up on the high ground on the west side of the facility.

  Once inside I focused on dealing with the flamer-wielding enemies first since they could kill me almost instantly. I always kept a few AP spare to shoot down incoming molotovs in VATS, and managed to work my way up to the second floor. There's a protectron pod there, and I pretty much followed him through the rest of the facility, using him as moving cover.

  Not sure if he'll be much trouble for you (I think I did it at around level 20) but the boss in Power Armour gave me some serious trouble. I ended up using some Jet while he was threatening to kill me and took out most of his goons before that wore off, and then used cover to avoid his laser pistol while I wore the guy down.

  There's a couple of mattresses outside on the north side so you do have a save point before you go in.

  Ok Ponty - you nailed it. I took a ton of jet and ran around healing and reloading and threw a dozen molotovs but I cleared it. You the man! Gah that was nuts.
