Can I post a WiP build if I don't have a name set for the build yet? I'm asking because I'm having trouble naming a build, if I did post it in the Workshop how should I be titling the post?

Yeah you can post one Chris, just give it a name like Undecided or NAME IN PROGRESS or something simple like that.

I'm trying to make a build based off of a character that's on "Arrow", it's a live action show on CW. The character's name is Spartan a.k.a John Diggle. He uses a special pistol that knocks out bad guys. He wears a costume made up of a leather jacket and jeans. He wears a helmet that resembles the assaultron helmet. I'm terrible at placing SPECIAL points. What's an ideal setup for this characters?

    Fist of all. Cool idea.

When I'm planning a build, I start out with the perks I want for that build. Once I have the perks in mind, I go through and list the SPECIAL I'm going to need to achieve those perks. I keep in mind The SPECIAL bobbleheads; which ones are easy to reach (eg. perception) and which ones I'm not going to be able to reach until much later in the game (luck)

(FO4)Does anyone have any suggestions on how to optimize a non power armor character with big guns? I'd like to maximize mobility and firepower.

(FO4) help! I'm in the early stages of new build, currently level 5. I have a concept that I'd like to flesh out a bit. I'm attempting to build a highly mobile settlement builder (no power armor) that focuses on big guns (eventually). As a secondary weapon and early game I'd like to use auto weapons and explosives. At higher levels I'd love to mow down groups of enemies with missle launcher and artillery attacks. I'd love help deciding on which perks to aim for and what order I should get them. I know ammo will be a concern using big guns and auto weapons. For early survival I've upgraded sneak, toughness and lock picking. Any advice would be appreciated!

I have got an idea for a build, I'm not gonna use the idea as I'm way too busy to make it so feel free to use the idea as your own. The idea is a scroundel who wields a crossbow with poisons to rig the battle in his favour. Skills are Alchemy, Archery, Speech, Sneak, pickpocket and optionally light armor but not necessary. He is a con man who sells at extortionate sums then steals back what he sold and moves onto his next victim. If he finds himself in a fix he poisons them with a crossbow and uses a wide variety of gadgets to ensure victory. He is a conman not a stone cold killer and only kills when it is necessary so he won't be the listener of the Dark Brotherhood, harbinger of the companions and Archmage of winter hold, he is just a travelling con man looking to make his fortune out of others misfortune

Working on a build which tries to borrow the strengths of Conjuration/Illusion casting, Enchantment/Alchemy crafting, and lightly perked minor skills to create a character whose gear and potions can allow for various modes of play. Basically, this is a Swiss Army knife build which is heavily reliant on an epic wardrobe, gear-swapping, and the occasional chugged potion. My question is, with this kind of caster-with-variable-playstyle build, how should I distribute health/magicka/stamina? At its core, this is primarily a mage build, but its chosen spell focus doesn't outright require a massive magicka pool, especially with enchantment and alchemy boosts. Health is going to be very important also for the melee aspects, and I don't know how well Stamina recovery enchantment and potions will stack up over time. The build is currently level 17, about to go into Bleak Falls Barrow, and steadily building its enchantment library. I have just under 300 Magicka, 150 health, and 100 Stamina. I'm feeling the squeeze on all of them to an extent, but hardest on the Health pool.

Shouldn't a concept like this go to the recycling bin?
