Umm.. I am sure he's got his reasons. I though being an Aedra meant knowing everything that happens on Nirn. So, he must have seen something that wasn't good there . Also, Tiber Septim was a Nord. So, the Septim Dynasty must have been Nords as well. I don't know what Bethesda did right there, but they screwed this up. If the father is a Nord, how can the son be an Imperial?

The Septim Dynasty refers to the bloodline of Emperors and Empresses, beginning with Tiber Septim. They were the first ruling family of the Third Empire, ruling it for the whole duration of the Third Era. The majority of these rulers are considered to be Imperials, unless otherwise stated. Its end was also the end of the Third Era

That's what wiki says. They may not be Imperials after all.

Fasendil, if I recall correctly, hates the Thalmor. Also these kinds of discussions can take awhile to simmer down (not that this discussion is particularly heated).

Because their mom was an Imperial, that's how it works in TES, Racial Phylactery states this.

Thing is, he supposedly became a Divine AFTER committing genocide. And he isn't an Aedra.

Umm.. ok but they still had Nord blood in them. The Emperors after Martin were full Imperials. When they took control, the Empire destroyed. Come on, the Septims survived the Oblivion Crisis. The Medes couldn't even win a war against mortal enemies, while they had more army.

I thought Aedra and Divine was the same thing.

Tiber Septim was most likely a Nord. And the entire "Imperial race" thing is sketchy. Most believe the Imperial race is actually made up of two distinct races: the Colovians and the Nibenese. Which is incredibly when you're discussing a lore character's race.

They're not exactly the same thing.

    Aedra and Divines.

Unless you're saying me Talos is an ancestor to Mer.

Well, sorry about that, I didn't do the Imperial part of the war enough times so I can remember names. I just looked at them in wiki.
