    Lycanthropy, the worst contagious condition ever.  Well, perhaps second only to vampirism. This is absolutely amazing, Ian! If this is really your first ever poem, I think you have some serious talent.

    I should probably mention that the first line ('I have seen the Bloodmoon rising...') is actually inspired by H.P Lovecraft's 'Nemesis' (where he writes at one point, 'I have seen the dark universe yawning...'). It's a really cool poem, IMO, and I urge the reader to check it out. However, the rest of the poem is wholly original, if you were wondering.
