The best way to do it is to get a piece of equipment that adds magicka (which I know creates a paradoxical event, but hey... just keep an eye out for it) or for something that gives illusion spell cost reduction.

oh yeah I never thought about that with no magicka investment. hmm yeah unless you have a save before initiating that conversation, you might have to track down some magicka apparel like Fev said.

You could go get the Atronach Stone to boost your magicka and then go choose another after (just hit me a couple mins ago). This would give a 50 magicka boost. Also at the start you can pick the lock in Helgen to get the Mage robe and hood for a 75% magicka regen and +30 magicka respectively.

50% magicka regen, if you dont mind^^.

How the firg did you make or get those?

I made the first one myself out of the first picture of the build. Then I made a screenshot with my Ipad of the second one (which would normaly be a video) and edited the missing parts.
Took me some hours to get the stuff right (and to find the right font), but powerpoint for ios worked pretty good here.
