Hello all - I made an interesting discovery, thanks to Doc PGB - and have updated the recommended armor to Nightingale (a cape!).

You can skip most of the Thieves Guild quest line to get the armor (not to mention the Nightingale sword and Chillrend). In this trial, I had already backdoored the Snowviel Sanctum's word of Disarm...so when I tried to continue Karliah's quest "Hard Answers" I didn't have access to the Ragged Flagon Cistern. When I bucketed through that wall into the cistern, I was viewed as tresspassing. But - I was able to keep their dialogue going enough and escape (thanks become ethereal!) to proceed with the Nightingale portion.

Bottom line: you can skip most of the Thieves Guild quest line if you just want the Nightingale Armor. Start the Thieves Guild quest up to he part where you get the armor and access to the Cistern. Then backdoor Snowveil Sanctum, get shot/saved by Karliah and proceed with her quests as normal. It takes about 20 minutes and boom! Nightingale Armor!

Don't underestimate the power of the dark side...and unlimited vampiric grip. :)

I love that glitch, its pretty much a Skyrimized verison of Force Choke, now, I'm going to watch TFA, as it buffers every few seconds, and the text crawl is in Spanish....hopefully the vocals arent

Great job man, I like it very much! +1

Your "World-Ender" power can be freely used in all the playthrough without losing Vampiric Grip. If you have any Master spell or two-handed weapon equipped, you can return to your previous one-handed weapons or\and spells by unequipping it or you can simply equip a one-handed weapon\spell in your right hand keeping Vampiric Grip in the left one.

Even on console? I feel like I messed around with hot keys and other options and it would disappear. Even equipping a torch would make grip go away. Hmm maybe I'll recheck a bit. Thanks!

I play on ps3. In my build I used hot keys only for a simple longbow(not used) and for a Master spells to switch quickly from the Master one to the Grip; so with a double tab you could have: Lightning storm\switch\bow\switch\vampiric grip+sword(or any other spell) and so on. The torch is a big NO.
