The Wraithblade of Kennendrix the Dark

Pulled into this realm from the plain of Oblivion by the arch necromancer Kennendrix .   Wreathed in eldritch flames and possessed of a ravenous and insatiable hunger for the very essence of life.  The Wraithblade consumes both the blood and soul of its victim, leaving an empty husk, ready to become another servant to the arch necromancer.

Daedric Dagger created by the Atronach Forge and enchanted with Absorb Health and Fiery Soultrap.

Oh, well back in oblivion I made a deadric warhammer caled Flaming Zeal. It did 40 points of fire damage for 1 sec and 62% weakness to fire for 1 sec it was enchanted with a black soul gem housing the soul of  a dremora valkynaz. A very powerfull artifact and one  I am very proud of.

Nice! A dremora soul would make for a very characterful source of power.

I'd want a cool piece of armor that would give me some sort of magical power.

It's not actually something I have made in-game (I play vanilla) but one of my favourite artifact ideas is The Caster's Sugar :D I haven't been able to make it as i would like to because it would have effects not available through the vanilla game, such as a very slight fortification of casting speed and other random things that are more RP related than relevant to the game.

The Caster's Sugar is a simple silver ring made in 4E 5 by a dunmeri enchanter and member of house Telvanni. She was known within a few towns of the master wizard's tower she stayed in by the name "The Caster" because she would always make a big show of the somatics when spellcasting. Over the years doing occasional errands for the people, they noticed and called her The Caster because she was so dramatic and superfluous in her somatics.

Anyway, the character I play in skyrim is an altmer scholar/enchanter. I headcanon that he studied under a Telvanni master with The Caster at the start of the fourth era, and they had a dumb fluffy romance. They were both enchanters and aspiring artificers, and as a gift for his birthday/to demonstrate her appreciation, she made him the ring. It's name is a pun, because The Caster was kind of a dork.

My altmer char. was her sugar (term of endearment) and she was The Caster. So he is The Caster's Sugar. Also, Caster Sugar is a thing. Plus, Sugar gives people energy, and the ring is like a sugar high for the mage wearing it, giving them slightly more fluent casting and other subtle effects like warmth (think of the comfort of a lover's embrace whenever you need it, wherever you are).

So it's not an especially powerful artifact, but it has great sentimental value to my character. In game I enchanted it with fort. mag. reg. and fort. mag. to simulate the effect, using the fort. rest. exploit.

This got so out of hand im sorry D:
anyway cool thread and artefacts and enchanting are probably my favourite part of skyrim and tes in general all things considered. I love collecting things irl so.
