The many faces of Akatosh?

Thank you Alastor  My Redguard knowledge is pretty damn bad too but I'm learning a fair bit from Feeney.

As for the separation of Auriel, Akatosh, Alkosh and the rest of the Dragon Gods of Time, there are a couple of things I didn't mention in the OP. Mannimarco in the book Where Were You When The Dragon Broke says "the Three Thieves of Morrowind could tell you, so could the High King of Alinor, who was the one who broke it in the first place." Is this an implication that Auriel as a mortal mer was the first to mantle the Time Dragon?

The other thing I didn't mention because I couldn't find the original source where it first appears is the concept of Mythopoeia. It is a term used on the official lore forums but doesn't seem to be a word used in any lore text. It basically backs up the idea outlined in Gods and Worship that gods can be changed and created through belief.

    He did.

ESO takes place in the 2nd era. Before The Warp In The West (which happened at the end of Daggerfall).

This technically makes ESO "TES 0" since chronologically it takes place before any of the other games.

Doesn't Knight-Paladin Gelebor more or less state that Akatosh and Auriel are the same, just with a different name? True, he is a guy who watched his own race kill eachother, his brother locked himself away, and he might be insane from isolation, but still.
