    Thank you, Vaaljorn!

I really enjoyed playing a thief that was so good at what he did they made him a god... something about that just seemed so cool :D

    Wow! Thanks, Curse :D

Rajhin was a fun character to write and made a great introduction to the world of the Khajiit for me... I might have tried playing a Khajiit sooner if I had run across Rajhin before. I just wish I'd had the time to fit it in with everybody else (I still am still backlogged on event builds to read and comment on--it's embarrassing).

Thanks for the kind words, Motty Skills :D

My problem with Pickpocket, historically, was always quicksaving before the attempt in order to avoid a bounty--Ben C's article about Pickpocketing soon showed me that having a bounty is a good thing if you also have the Bribery perk (and even better if you have Persuasion). That Speech skill starts to skyrocket as you bribe and persuade guards :D

It's also my favorite way to use trainers. I'm always a bit sad when I play a character whose RP doesn't allow for Pickpocketing... so much work! xD

Vaz saves the day! (Again ;D) For me, it's more like 'Screenshot of the Month'--whoever took that one nailed it :D

Good question! If I saw the threat early (and wasn't being hounded by other enemies), I'd charge the TLU spell ahead of time, wait for the threat to come to me, and blast him mid-swing. Otherwise, I tended to backpedal during the charge phase in order to buy myself some time.

I always followed my shot whenever I cast TLU, and depending on how far away the target was (usually fairly close) would sometimes even sprint after the spell in order to get there sooner. That usually gave me enough time to throw in a couple punches, but if you circle your enemy a bit while punching you can get in a few more (though it can be a bit risky). Looking back, I realize that there is a lot of back-and-forth going on in a typical undead encounter. And yes, stick-and-move tactics--get in your punches, then get a bit of distance.

I would also bait enemies into swinging early, backpedal, out of reach of the swing, then close for a punch or two, then move away. Be aware, though... some enemies are more difficult to do this to than others (I'm looking at you, greatswords xD). I haven't worried about taking on trolls in well over a year; backpedal, stop long enough to trigger its dual-swipe, backpedal out of reach, attack. Rinse and repeat.

In early levels, you really only have enough magicka in the tank to use TLU a couple times, which makes your Fus shout pretty valuable; however, by mid-game the enchants really start to take care of you, and I was surprised by how useful the combined Magicka Regeneration Perks and enchants were... even in combat. By the late game I stopped worrying about the cost--unless I was surrounded by a ton of undead (like just before getting the Galdur Amulet), the threats were usually gone before the magicka was.

Disclaimer: these results are on Adept, so your miles may vary as you climb the difficulty ladder ;D

    Hey! Thanks, DB :D

The combined thieving, punching, and Khajiit-ing (whaaa?) really is a blast. However, while I love Illusion, I was afraid I would resort to Calm-and-punch tactics over and over again, so I wound up tossing the idea out the window, and focused more heavily on Restoration instead. I would most definitely swap the two schools if I were to tackle this build on legendary, though.

Top 10... you're killing me, DB xD

Why the hell did I say Illusion.. Apologies Shin, don't know where I got that from, Illusion, nope don't see it. Just ignore me as usual.

    Thanks RS!

I hadn't really given unarmed combat a fair shake, and being a punchcat was tons of fun... glad you liked it :D

Thanks, Breaker! I'm glad to hear that people read captions... and like The Last Airbender (animated version, that is ;D)
