    Thanks!

I've always loved finding alternative ways of using magic in games. I never really cared for the cost reduction enchantment route that most people seem to like for Skyrim...it's just to simple. I was actually planning on some builds focused around the "Ultimate Atronach" concentration exploit, too. These would probably utilize either shock magic (Sparks + Lightning Storm) or fire magic (Flames + Aspect of Terror).

It is a mod you download when you want to play with tears in your eyes and want life to be unfair.

It's not that bad, but it is a challenge.

I've been play testing this again from level 1 just to see if I missed anything or could make some improvements. I'm currently at level 31, and using The Path of Magical Affinity. An interesting thing that I noticed was that sometimes the Magicka doesn't run out when using concentration spells...the character is currently at stage 4 vampirism with 25 points of Magicka.

Any idea why/how? You may have accidentally stumbled upon a new way to get unlimited concentration casting without special items or the Atronach Stone. You should get in touch with one of the posters here who's better at math; see if they can figure it out. As far as I know, nobody really knows WHY unlimited concentration casting occurs, so any new info would be interesting.

The oddest thing is that it's intermittent. Sometimes it works, but not other times. It seemed to activate after draining all the Magicka and then attempting to cast just as the bar was filling up again. It definitely only happened during the daylight hours, and it worked with Vampire Drain, Vampiric Grip, Lesser Ward, and Telekinesis.

    Stats:

    Magicka: 25

    Magicka Regen Rate: 3.00

    Magicka Rate Multiplier: 6137.50

Intermittent? That is weird. We have a discussion on unlimited concentration casting here; I'd suggest taking this info there. A lot of those guys have a much better grasp of game mechanics than I do; I'm sure they'd be able to give you more insight than me.

Thanks, I posted this over there.

Cool. I'm also interested in using Fortify Destruction potions to boost the damage done by Unrelenting Force. Does this work with other shouts, like Fire/Frost Breath or Soul Tear (not that Soul Tear really needs that much more boosting, but you get my point), or on the Nightingale Strife power?

I doubt that it would work with Soul Tear. I've heard differing reports on the use of Fire and Frost shouts. Personally, the only reason that I would use either of the later two shouts would be for roleplay. Frost is slightly better with the Dragonborn Frost freezing ability...

Nice build, +1 from me. What I feel though is that the pacts could have been more detailed and lesser time spent on the backstory of the build. It's sorta obvious that there's d&d influence with the inclusion of star pact warlockery. As such, other spells could have been included to reflect this, including the ability to induce fear in targets and usage of fire spells. This would fit in well with vampirism aspect of terror would be boosted with vampirism necromage bug. In addition, the aspect of terror and flame bug would also kick in, paving way for proficiency in this pact. No qualms about the blood pact though, seems legit. Well done.
