Improve them before you enchant them, removes the need for the Arcane Smithing perk.

Yep, like changing how they work after each patch. Sometimes the UESP data are inaccurate due to it.

Well, I did't say that just because you go to my build and talk about it. But it seems to be the same question you ask over the other build when they did't mention anything about healing and neither have Arcane Blacksmith perk in their build. Hence, the first thing that pop into my mind is "Are you obsessed with it?"

True that every equipment in this build is enchanted, but I am sure the author refer to "Upgrade first, enchant later" just like all the other build out there instead of "Enchant now, upgrade later". Do you always enchant equipment before you upgrade it? Not everybody waste perk point at Arcane Blacksmith to do that.

As for healing approach, I don't think we need to be critical about the healing method since it was about the character build itself and not role play. Unless the character was specified heavily in Restoration.

Fair point on the UESP/Patch thing. I did a search on UESP and nothing in there mentioned that they changed the the resistant cap, only the way it was calculated. I really don't mention the healing or Arcane Blacksmith thing on a lot of builds. In fact, the only ones I recall mentioning it on are this one and yours. You can smith your equipment and then enchant it, but then that raises the question of what level to smith it to. Epic? Fine? Flawless?

Ben, I upgrade it based on what kind of gear I want. For example, if my character use Ebony equipment. I would start off by using an upgraded Steel equipment, then switch to upgraded Dwarven equipment as soon as I have Dwarven perk and repeat the process till I have Ebony perk.

Afterward, I would have use potion to raise the Smithing level to 91 so it can be upgrade to Legendary stats.

If the equipment on the other hand are on lower perk such as Elven & Dwarven Smithing, I would only upgrade it once every 20-30 smithing level or when my equipment no longer provide a decent protection.

It depends on how the character was build and the player preferences itself.

There is even a way to upgraded to Legendary stats without the  required level of smithing and perk.

    Hint: Fortify Restoration

It certainly depends on player preferences, but suggestions from the build author go a long way. Since they're the one who created/played the build, they should have a good idea of how smithed the equipment should be.

To me, the ancient Nord Armor looks very balrogish, look at this:

may wanna use that. Theres a few places you can get the armor without finishing The Companions. The build overall is great, one of my favorite monsters in LOTR! +1

Finally a build for which it actually makes sense to choose daedric armor! I would recommend Ahzidal (DB) for your helm, though. Not only is it more thematic, but it also augments your fire breath shout and possibly your fire damage enchantments. It would also free up the enchantment slots formerly used for resist fire for other enchantments.

Speaking of fire breath, in Dragonborn a new passive ability, called dragonborn flame, causes your highest level of fire breath to summon a fire wyrm for each enemy killed by the shout.

The jagged crown can't be smithed or enchanted, a quick peek at its TES wiki page should have told you this.

With regards to your perk spread; don't feel constrained to do it at EXACTLY level 50, as 99% of the time the character isn't at that exact level. 4/5 enchanter and no fire enchanting perk for a fire enchantment-based character feels incomplete. So do a level 52, 57, or whatever level perk spread you need to best fit the character. If the level gets too high then do a level 30ish perk build, it helps.

Also this character's theme is pure awesome sauce, great job!

To me 'play testing' isnt enough, a build shouldn't be posted here unless the author has beat all major story lines and probably a guild or two first. How on earth can you know what the pros and cons of a character are unless you actually use it in all situations. I fear far too many builds on this site are scribbled down on paper and posted without any real playing (and some likely with none).

How on earth did you get 100 destruction and onehanded? Did you grind the levels or somehow make enough money to buy that much training? Also, The only summon you mention (that i saw anyways) is conjure ash spawn, far as i know you cant summon two of them using twinsouls perk so what else do ou use?
