Like I said, Mallus Maccius makes for a good fence, so I had no trouble selling my stuff off to him. I didn't bother with a follower; they'd have trouble keeping up with you on horseback. And yeah, the picture of the guy holding the rifle does kinda break the atmosphere. I didn't notice the rifle until after the fact, but I still thought it was a cool picture to use. I might trade it out for something else though. Glad you liked the build!

Glad I found this because you saved me from making this exact build. (Except I was going to swap Smithing for Block and use Targe of the Blooded.) I like it.

2H on horseback is actually the most viable because of the weapon's reach. Ponty's Horseman does it pretty well. I think I am going to play this build, and be a little sad that I can't post my the-exact-same build.

Particularly since burst damage is much more relevant than DPS on horseback, warhammer would definitely be the way to go for a horseback 2H build.

Sorry I stole your build!
And yeah, between the Raider and the Horseman, the Horseman is better optimized for mounted combat. Being on a horse negates pretty much all of the disadvantages that two-handers have relative to one-handed weapons, and heavy armor's probably a better choice overall than light. That being said, I was aiming more for aesthetics with this build.

No worries, I really like what you put together! And I agree, horse combat is optimized for 2H, but this build is a really neat aesthetic. (To be completely honest, a recent Warband playthrough is exactly why I wanted to make this build!)

Thanks! If you're gonna ditch the Ebony Helmet, a Dragon Priest Mask is a good choice (particularly Rahgot or Otar, or even Nahkriin for the aesthetic value), but might I suggest the Masque of Clavicus Vile as an alternative? It looks pretty beastly when paired with Ebony Armor. Also, are you gonna go for the Ebony Mail or Blade? I can't imagine the Mail being too useful, but the Blade is probably a solid option.
