  It was for everyone Fawn  Thanks for looping me in. I think that is why I have difficulty with long projects, I can't sustain the inspiration and end up ripping the page. I have massive respect for you and the rest who can, its amazing.

  Keep fighting Sotek. I promise I will pick up UOTW where I left off and I am sorry it fell to the side to begin with. 

  So what keeps you going when you get that block, or that feeling when you want to burn the world in frustration? How do you (all) push past that?

  Ughh, 3,000 words down, about 7,000 words to go. Is it possible to go lower than 10,000?

  Oh I always fight Phil, no worries there. One of the great things with stories is that they never judge readers because they have busy lives or they can't read much at a time. The story will be there and wait patiently for the readers return.

  As for writers block, I'm not enterly sure what it actualy is.

  My heads always buzzing with ideas and scenarios for my story. It's based on three TES games and when TES 6 comes out then that game will be included.

  What I suffer from is fatuige. Working long shifts and 5-6-7 nights in a row is a killer and drains you. So how do I push past it.

  Well there's are a few members in TV who I reguarly go to and bounce off ideas to try to get the claws typing. Lissette, Ben, Tae, Orlando, Shyguy.

  However when I have a thorn in my paw and I just cannot get it pulled out then I go to the one who was there at the start.

  Aela.....

  When I'm really stuck or I just cannot focus then I'll sit down with Aela and read to her what I'm working on. We'll bounce a few ideas off one another and she'll egg me on to pass the block. There's whole days when we'll read the story and work on the story line.

  Wouldn't be where I am without her.

  I had originally set a 50,000 word goal too only to realize that completing Book 1 of Straag Rod wouldn't take 50k words, so I reduced it to 35,000. Then, I figured out that I was going to be writing some of the most mentally demanding chapters I've ever written. Period. Then progress slowed because I needed to get it just right. Aelberon has gone through so much, I wasn't going to short change these final moments of Book 1.

  Really, I'm very happy  and consider Camp NaNo a huge success for me if I complete chapter 33 to my satisfaction, which will put me way below my 35k goal and I didn't win (who cares!) but simply words isn't the goal. It's that I'm writing and moving forward with my story, so I'm happy. I had been delaying this part of the story for months and months because it just really required a lot of emotional commitment and intensity and I wasn't ready to capture what was playing out in my brain over and over again on paper. I cried when I finished the part I last did, just releasing it. It's not perfect, but it's there. It's on paper.

  I'm like Sotek, hugely suffering from fatigue right now. Finals at the University are kicking in, which means grading, grading, grading. Working two jobs, getting up at 5am and working until 8 or 9pm. Working seven days a week. It is rough and then, on top of that, writing. We rely on each other sometimes to get us through it, to motivate each other. Like right, now, Sotek just posted his word count on Steam via IM. I will now write him back and cheer him on.

  Exactly, the fact is Chris that you have added 3,000 words. Don't beat yourself up about it.
