Hello there wastelanders, and welcome back to the Hub! Flamez and I have something special for you, to mark the beginning of a new year in Fallout. In the past three years, we have seen the wasteland from one end to the other. Where ever we went, great stories were heard. However, what about those stories that have been forgotten? From those that saw the destruction of the Old World?
Well, today we honor those brave men and women that made the first steps in this barren world. That showed us how to survive, and told us about the world before. During your adventures, you might have found a holotape or two, telling the story of a lone soldier or a father looking for his family. Now, you're going to be the one creating it. Put yourself in the shoes of those first people that took on this world and have beaten the odds. Tell us, how do you survive?
As with every event, there are some rules, so do read this:
- The event will last from today, until February 3rd, midnight, by Central European Time.
- The log must be from at least 100 words to 250 words. You're not writing a book, you took shelter in a building and are just killing time.
- All entries are to be posted in the Fallout Hub and with the "Event:Survivor" tag.
- Altough all Fallout games are set in America, your log can be set anywhere. From Canada to Italy to China.
All entries will be linked here. Do give me a title:
Amornar: Connor's Holotape, George's Holotape, John's Holotape
Deebs: Early Days of a Bomb-torn Country
DeltaFox: The Rise of Raiders
Caladran: Hunting a Bastard
Mr. Edd: Convoy

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO MY ONE WEAKNESS. Not keeping things short :(
Damn, that's actually a challenge for me all by itself Delta, could've happily written a nice 500-2000 word thing, but 100-250, blergh...Alright I'll give it a shot. Is it just a single entry or we allowed to write a string of connected logs?

Just to clarify....these should be...."happy" holotapes of people surviving and nothing sad "these are my last words" holotapes? Or can it be either? :D

You're gonna push for that 250 limit, won't you? You know, I'm expecting at least 10 logs from you :p
Hit 246 on the first draft of my first log, so it isn't entirely impossible for me to hit that bit 2000 :P

I feel like I should probably participate in this. I haven't done enough writing for a long time. Hopefully it'll get me in the mood to write a ToC for Skyrim that I was planning on writing for the past month, lol.

umm, hate to be the bringer of bad news, but let's make sure we follow the formatting of the event, which is to post the logs in the hub. People are using blogs, and that's okay, if the logs were 400 words. Since these are not, and a 250 word cap was put on a log entry, and since they are not poetry, it is better to post these logs in the hub.
