Why would a shield not be an offense weapon. Bashing someone's face with __ pounds of metal would hurt like a motherf*cker. Would defiantly stagger them, and I can see how it would disarm someone. They would drop the weapons to grab their face as a diffensive mechanism.

Or you could hook the shield around their weapon arm...

Two other people have said something like this, and I'm not sure why. I said the shield is a primary form of defense, and a secondary form of offense. Nowhere have I said that a shield can't be used as a weapon. Please let me know where you thought I said that and I can clarify what I meant.

Agreed, but to assist in the mage-hunting aspect of the Inquisitor I used Absorb Magicka instead.
