Indeed they have! But I don't see anywhere that shields can't be used as weapons, only that they are the primary form of defense with some offensive capabilities with the right perks.

Dayum, you beat me to this, I was gonna make an inquisitor build in a few months, but atleast my concept will be a huge difference from yours. +1 btw

Well, inquisitors are kind of awesome. Who wouldn't want to play one? :P

There's another inquisitor build on the site but it's also very different. It's a warhammer-wielding, heavy armor wearing juggernaut who casts healing and elemental spells. It seems to me that mine is more of a melee warrior who uses magic pretty much exclusively for survival and utility with a much higher focus on magic resistance and absorption. The gameplay is very different between the two.

Aww man, those were the aesthetics of the build I was about to post. Nice build though +1

The one that I'm planning out is actually inspired from some characters from DOTA. Hope I can post it soon :)

Another person pointed this out, and like I said to him, I haven't written anywhere that shields aren't used for offense.

Awesome, let me know how it goes! I can't vouch for how well-suited this build is for Legendary, as I mainly play on Expert. I did test the build on Master though, and I found it to be challenging but not overwhelmingly so.

Really like this build. Maybe consider Absorb Health instead of Magica to have a little bit more staying power on master/legendary modes.

    +1 from me.
