What kind of builds are you playing?

Just a little discussion to talk about what builds people are currently playing, what they want to try out, etc. A nice little place to talk about what builds you're playing and maybe even bounce around a few ideas (I know I've got a few questions).

I'm currently playing a Tony Stark build and loving it. Spending the entire time in power armour, with tricked out weapons, chems and explosives. Basically an Intelligence heavy build to begin with, with some charisma and strength on the side (can't wait to pick up Pain Train). Might even get around to posting it!

I have a couple of other things I'd like to try as well. Some sort of melee stealth, since that seems particularly OP in this game (maxed out sneak, ninja and blitz seems the way to go, with tons of crit related perks). I've also really wanted to give that syringer a go, is that thing any good?

What kind of builds have you guys been playing, and what are you wanting to try next?

Let's see, I'm gonna use a Magnum, Combat Shotgun, Combat Knife, some Grenades, and maybe using a Bomber Jacket, and then eventually, maybe Brotherhood Fatigues

Wondering if anyone is interested in chiming in on my FO4 WiP build over here - it's my Neo (Matrix) play through I'm currently testing.

    Thanks

Sounds like you're gonna need to rely on close range head shots. That's always fun

Yup, I probably will. Though that might mean use of VATS, since I'm not that good at headshotting moving targets.

Well I've been playing this upto level 14 and I have to say it's been a lot of fun. Pain Train + Power Unarmed is actually a fairly viable form of combat, the ridiculous defenses given to you by Power Armour makes fights fairly even, it definitely makes up for the range.

But the real fun part so far has been combining Pain Train with the Unarmed Sprint Attack (When using melee weapons or unarmed after coming out of a sprint it deals more damage). if you time it right you can knock them off balance and deal a fair bit of damage and unleash an incredibly powerful attack. I've used it to one-hit Raider Psychos, Ghoul Prowlers and take out half of a Softshell Mirelurk's HP (All on Normal by the way, might up the difficulty soon). Ghouls are actually really easy to take on since they're charging at you anyway.

I can't imagine what that combo will look like at Pain Train 3 and all the bonuses to Unarmed a Power Armour set can get. Anyway, I'll definitely be finishing this build, it's so much fun,.

Guys, I had an idea. Letterman Jacket+Mascot Head=Hotline Miami build

I'm fairly sure this has already been asked before, but I've started a melee build and was wondering whether Gun Fu and Concentrated Fire affect it in any way - that is to say, will I get more damage from Gun Fu's multi-targeting, and will I get the bonus damage from Concentrated Fire rank 3 (since accuracy is always 95% or 0% in melee).

I know Gun-Fu works, but I've never used Concentrated Fire, it seems like it would

No Gun-Fu doesn't work for melee, I don't imagine concentrated fire does either...
