When I first encountered that town, I met every other family before the guy who tells you that they are cannibals, and literally the very first thought upon meeting them was "There is no doubt in my mind that these people have gotta be eating people or something. They're just too damn weird. After that, I too ran away as quickly as I could and never returned.

My favorite character in NV beat everything except the Honest Hearts and Dead Money DLCs, and after he got to the last quest before the Battle For Hoover Dam, I went off to do the DLCs, not DM and HH, just the others, and after finishing them I got so tired of my character being attacked for no reason whatsoever by the Legion that I just walked up to the Fort with a missile launcher, metal armor, and a ballistic fist and killed everyone inside including Caesar, who died in the most painful way possible: getting his old person skull crushed by a ballistic fist. Then I took his clothes. And after that they no longer attacked me.

Regardless of what kind of 'build' I play, my characters always seem to be 'clean'. They don't do drugs or booze. The only exception is my science-based build who uses the 'Mysterious Serum' when outside of Power Armor to make up for the fact he's only really wearing a lab coat and specs. And even then in terms of the game's code, it doesn't count as a drug (as there's no addiction system for it).

That being said, I recently realised just how much of a goldmine crafting 'Jet' is. You can even bulk-buy plastic and fertilizer from junk stores and doctors, and still sell Jet off for a tidy profit. So even my military-type "the law is everything" archetype isn't above crafting a little jet.

I also cannot get used to having a follower of any kind. I'd love to have a "one man and his dog" kind of build, but for the life of me I cannot abide having followers, so I never enjoy it. I once did a sniper build with a Dogmeat follower. Camped down, lined up for a longshot at a super mutant's head, and at the last bloody second Dogmeat walked in front of me, getting shot point-blank in the head. Stupid mutt.

In Fallout NV, I role-play as a compassionate girl who enforces law her own way with a mean streak that shows when she is pondered by a black hearted criminal.

In Fallout 4, I role-play as a man with a similar personality of the girl.

    Like they are twins.

My main character in NV, a former NCR soldier turned mercenary, is a particularly bad creature of habit. He must sleep, eat, and piss on a tight schedule or he'll go crazy.  Still a good shot though.

Lol I don't think I've ever gone that deep on the RP. I feel like the only reason my characters aren't sticklers for schedules is because I would never remember to keep them. Then again, real life me isn't too much of a stickler for schedules either.
