I don't think so, I mean the knowledge used to make them was mostly lost with the dissapearance of the Dwemer. They have been able to be reprogrammed however, so I don't know definitively where the knowledge of their workings ends. Golems (or Atronachs) are commonplace however, and are constructed in a similar way to animunculi, being that they are constructed from a material and then animated to be set to perform a certain task.

I mean the two most "recognized" writers are MK and Kuhlmann, but that's because they're both responsible for a lot of the weird metaphysical lore that exists, namely the 36 Sermons of Vivec.

I've been looking around UESP and I can't find much so I thought I' d ask the loremasters to try and find some better detail - Exactly how powerful is a Numidium, how does it attack and could it be defeated in combat? Thanks in advance :D

Oh, boy.
Well...beside Numidium being big as skyscraper...It warps time, if all the events where it was included are any indication. Numidium is basicaly...a Dwemer god. Created by Dwemer. So...good luck fighting time warping golem skyscraper.
Who apparently is frozen in fight with Altmer on Summerset Isles and will be up until 9th Era...or something like that.
But if you seriously want to go down that hole...C0DA

Will said:Okay, thanks, Karver - It'll be fun writing the chapter in which they've got to defeat one :D
In C0da, Numidium really only dies by logic plague/convinced to commit suicide.
