Well that's proper TES mental. Cicero becomes mad when he kills the jester, and in turn gets killed by the new Cicero... Mantling madness! Do the journal's reveal the jester's name? Was it Cicero by any chance? Tamriel has a dark history where harlequin's are concerned, so I won't read too deeply into it, but man is it a cool thought! A Cicero is henceforth a permanent fixture of the Dark Brotherhood, always slain and replaced by another Cicero.

Ha! Anyway, yeah this is cool :)

There's no mention of the Jester's name, just that he is Cicero's last contract as an assassin.  Journal one and two are pretty mundane.  Journal 3 is where he kills the Jester and becomes the Keeper, but rather than a slow progression into madness, it's rather abrupt.  I chose a slower path. ;)  However, the idea that his name was Cicero?  Hysterical!  Even just the idea that a jester is killed by a jester, who is killed by a jester, and so on... that would be a never-ending cycle with a jester always at the core of the Night Mother's madness.

Really well done Jynna, I'm so glad you got this done, now I'm off to finish reading your log and see how Cicero's story ends!

Thank you!  It's my first build, so I wasn't sure of the details, but I hope I got it right.  :)  Making the perk spread without photoshop was a challenge!

I had forgotten you were tackling a Cicero build for this event as well. Glad I stumbled on it, though.

My experience with the One-handed dagger perks falls pretty much along the lines you did. I wasn't interested in performing any kind of power attack other than standing or forward (anything else with a dagger is (a) tricky to pull off, and (b) a bit out of character for a dagger anyhow.

But Bite Marks and Twin Fangs... that slow and steady bleed damage was pretty darned cool :D

    Again, great build!

Now to finish reading All Along the Watchtower! I've been on the road for the last four days, and have missed the closing posts on both yours and your husband's logs. Must rectify this ;D

Thank you, ShinJin!  Bite Marks and Twin Fangs - a definite must for a dagger fighter!  If I could have found the save where I took Swaying Cobra and reloaded, I would have.  I would like to have that perk back to put into Sneak or even Archery.

I think the only thing I didn't do was Archery.  There just didn't seem to be a need for it.  I know it's one of Cicero's main skills (and he has an alteration of 60 - why???) but I could do everything I needed to do with daggers and sneak.  Except Broken Oar Grotto.  I needed a bow for that.  If you were going to go the Dragonborn route, you'd probably need a bow anyway.

Really good build, enjoyed reading it very much. I do love the idea that a guy kills Cicero and becomes Cicero, and then a guy kills Cicero and becomes Cicero, and then a guy kills Cicero and becomes Cicero, and then a guy kills Cicero and becomes Cicero, and then a guy kills Cicero and becomes Cicero, and then...

    you get the idea.

My like alone just for the Watchtower references.
