Alright....I'm back with a modding question :D
I'm having trouble installing the Morrowind Code Patch.....which is probably mainly due to the fact that I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to modding. So I downloaded the Standard Morrowind Code Patch under Files. Then, I read the readme and unzipped the MCP.exe into my OC: Steam/SteamApps/Common/Morrowind folder. I then attempted to run the file and nothing happened besides the message that popped up asking if I was sure I wanted this to make changes to my computer. A few seconds after clicking Yes a small box popped up and then disappeared. That is all I could get to happen. Do I need the files in the MCPatch or Data Files folders for anything? I really appreciate any help, I'm really frustrated by this right now.

Extract the zip to your Morrowind directory, the one with the Morrowind program in it (not Data Files).
Run the Morrowind Code Patch program. If Morrowind is installed in Program Files, you will need to run it as administrator.
There´s not much else besides this, so try to run it as administrator. God knows if it even works with Steam version (though why it wouldn´t?)

I´m afraid I don´t know about any way how to do that, Tim. It is a textured ground, so only thing that might work is to find mod that makes Solstheim...green.

I think there are console commands for disabling weather. They are regional, but that´s everything I can help you. I never needed those so I wasn´t looking for them.

No and No. Playing Morrowind on console is worse than playing Dark Souls 1 on PC, without a controlled and no control guide. It's just, horrible
