A certainly original build +1 from me!
Also the vegetable soup gives you 1 stamina every second for 12 minutes which means unlimited bashing if things get close and personal :)
And also at highier levels on Master difficulty does it take an hour to kill one Ancient Dragon with your destruction spells? I hear destruction is underpowered at highier levels.

Have you thought of using Wall of Fire in either spell or staff form? Seems perfect as you could maneuver the enemy into it, stop them from moving forward with strategic bashes or even buy just blocking their attacks (forcing them to remain in the same place)
For the same reason, a fire cloak spell would also be great with it!
Last thing, i promise, since you already have Augment Flame perked, and Extra effect, why not through a fiery soul trap effect on your magika sucking sword? The reason being that you could set the fiery soul trap to only one second, and have tons of charge, while at the same time increasing magicka absorbed by 50 percent as well because of the Augment Flame perk :)
Really nice build though, love the look and the playstyle +1

Great idea I had part of this as an idea but I think one of the main things you need to use in this is Spellbreaker. This means that you can block incoming magic as well as physical attacks. Using this with the Dragonskin power is extremely effective.
Also the Ebony Mail could help

I have been struggling with finding a build that fit my playstyle and I was thinking of a build similar to this one. This blog got got things in the right direction and I'm having a blast so far with this build. Thanks and +1!!

Thanks for the recent posts guys! I honestly haven't been playing Skyrim that much lately (So I can't really comment on the suggestions, as I'm a bit rusty now), but I'm glad to see others are still enjoying my build.
Edit: Also, thanks to everyone who has Like'd this build! Just edited the tag to Rank:Mythic!
Edit 2: It also looks like a Spellguard-esque build won't be possible in ESO, unfortunately. They should have kept the equip system from Skyrim, or rather, at least the weapon equip system. Darn staves.
