I will definitely try Phil! I'm fine with it on roleplay, as the All Mother is a diety to the Skaal. I will go into some other details another time. So far I have nothing on the blade in terms of enhancing it. The energy waves aren't affected by any potions, and only do more damage when enemies are weaker to magic. I think dragon aspect might make it do more damage, as that boosts power attack damage so it might affect the waves as they could be considered power attacks.

Will the wave attack poison enemies if the blade is poisoned beforehand? 

Nope, already tried that. Just checked UESP talk on the blade, and apparently the energy wave damage is fixed, so only weakness to Magicka poisons increase the wave damage on enemies. The lore actually works really well with the build, and I'll try and get that up soon, possibly with a screenshot if I can get one from the request discussion.

Hey Phil, your bloodskal blade thoughts gave me an idea, but you might have to wait a bit before I can execute it. How do you think an All Maker style revamp would suit this guy? I'd still keep him worshipping all nine divines, just factor in the skaal and the all maker more, and use the bloodskal blade instead of his elven greatsword. Let me know what you think!

Or, I could go full on "Crusader of the Skaal" or something like that, and instead base the potions and poisons on what the all maker granted the skaal: animals, plants, the sun, the earth, the water and the wind. How does that sound? Please anybody give me your thoughts, as I wouldn't want to ruin the build.

I think you have enough material there to create an entirely new build. Tacking on the 'Crusader of the Skaal" here would make this build way too long, which would be a turn off. 

I can see it now. Nordic Carved Armor w/ the dawnguard heavy helmet and blood skaal blade would make for a killer look. Weakness to magic poison already enhances the energy wave's damage, so that could be one of your main poisons. Also, Since the standard crusader uses fire, and the dark variant uses ice, perhaps this one could use lightning as its main element.  

In any case PM me and I ca brainstorm with you. You've got a hell of a talent for making builds, and I'd like to see this latest idea take flight.

Something I briefly touched on in my Champion update that you could use with that idea is having potions that fortify the effects of the All-Maker Stones before using them - like a Destruction potion for the sun flare and blizzard ones, or a Restoration potion for the healing one.

You good sir, have ten times the talent I have for making builds. Just take a look at your first build, the shadowcaster, and you can already see that absolutely demolishes the crusader. I'm loving the ideas though man, you're right that it would make the original crusader too long. I'm gonna start working on this now. Care to do a collaboration with me on this? You are coming up with some killer ideas and I would like to hear more.
