Great build as always; keep up the good work! Just a small note though, it isn't necessary to clear out Raven Rock Mine in order to get Neloth to start giving out his side quests that lead to the Telvanni Robes. Of course, this build would want to clear it out anyway for the word to Dragon Aspect, but I thought I'd just point it out.

Also, are you sure the Ebony Gauntlets are the only ones that don't clip through the Telvanni Robes? I'd imagine that the Steel Plate Gauntlets wouldn't clip either if the Ebony ones don't. Not that you'd want to use the Steel Plate ones over Ebony.

Are you certain? I tried extensively to get Neloth to offer those side quests and he wouldn't do it until I cleared the mine. He offered the Azra Nightwielder and Heart Stone quests but no others. UESP doesn't say Raven Rock Mine is required but a guy in the forums said it worked for him and it seemed to for me as well. Thanks for the kind words though! I didn't think I had another build in me haha.

That's actually quite interesting, that would work. I'll just save and reload until I get the quests

Weird, I always do the Tel Mithryn quests first and Raven Rock later without any problems.

You're welcome, good to see you could pull off another!

That was my idea too, go straight for the robes to get in character but I couldn't get the steward quest to pop up. I'll have to try it again soon and see what I come up with.

"Alteration should be a priority early on, shooting for Mage Armor ..."

Mage Armor isn't in your spread and wouldn't work well with the Heavy Armor, so I'm going to assume that should read Magic Resistance.

also, why no Quick Reflexes? does it not work with the stave? if it does ill probably steal a point from shield wall and apply it there. Does the Shield Charge trick work with staves by chance? knocking people over with a big stick would be hilarious.

Pretty cool, Alastor. I have tried some unarmed inspired builds but could never go through with them. Props for you to have the patience to do it! I absolutely love the whole aesthetic and character concept. Good stuff, yo.

I was a little worried when I started reading this, because I have something quite similar in the works, but this is great (and my idea is still different enough :P). The vibe of your build just, works.

Lol! I didn't perk Mage Armor you're totally right. I'll fix fix that ASAP. Thanks! And I didn't perk Quick Reflexes because it's so hard to level Block and Heavy Armor once you start dodging with Quick Reflexes. I had so much Health and a decent defense I had no problem rolling with the punches. Shield Charge probably would work like a weapon so yeah.

Thanks bro! Patience wasn't even a factor here. The build is pretty fluid once you get that initial unarmed damage. The great part is you don't have to perk an unarmed skill aside from Fists of Steel so you can really build a defense. Very streamlined :)
