Tips for an Assassin Character

I played on the hardest. It's trivial to take out all the guards once you have upgraded pistol... It one shots any guard, you can just stand there and let them come to you...

I did not notice that, I upgraded none of the loud weapons since I was not doing much fighting.

I never fought and completed the game without any kills. Only once I decided to try and see what I can do with loud approach. Well, I cleaned an entire section with barely losing any health... After that the thrill of sneaking diminished greatly. Why sneak if you can just obliterate anyone... The new Thief seems to think of that and you can't fight few opponents at once and barely can handle yourself against one opponent

I never noticed that, I just prefer to use Throw Voice because it has a quick recharge time and its just fun to listen to the taunts it uses

And, as Vaz has pointed out, the armor rating doesn't matter. An assassin could be disguised in rags and still have the ability to kill someone.

True, but I still choose that armor set for the benefits plus I think the armor looks boss and aesthetics are really important to me.

    indeed

since Skyrim is a roleplaying game then how the character looks is essential.

I like the tips, but when I play stealth characters I often mix in a bit illusion magic, it brings more possibilities. for example: fi you encounter a bandit patrol of 10 wandering the roads looking for travelers to raid, you might find it hard to take them out neatly. Sure you can just sneak in behind them and slash them all to pieces in just a few seconds... but what is the fun in that? If you use illusion then you can: throw a frenzy spell in to the group, and as they fight eachother throw a invisibility spell on yourself and roll in and slice some throats! then. if there are any left as they run towards you, throw invisibility again and roll to the side, causing them to run past you, then you finnish them!

therefore I would argue that the nightingale hood is superior to the shrouded hood.

Can Predator's Grace boots be disenchanted to get 100% muffle? Or, more specifically, is there another way to get that enchantment besides the very rarely occurring random gear you may find it on
