I didn't use a follower, I just did a lot of running away :) Whether or not you can play with any of the overhaul mods depends entirely what those mods change about the 2 skills used.

Nice build, I think Flaming Familiars would look cool on it

I was thinking about grabbing Illusion's Aspect of Terror to up the fire damage, but i guess things running away would be a pain for the game play.

You can also up the damage by using fortify alchemy gear to make more potent destruction potions.

Aspect of Terror doesn't make enemies run away. Intense Flames does that.

Oops, sorry I hadn't commented earlier PC. I have to admit that this might be one of my favorite builds of the last couple of months. The idea of using less then 4 skills doesn't seem to come up all that often then builds and this one takes it to the max. The balance of only two skills is really interesting and I would say you pulled it off perfectly. Destruction and Alchemy might be one of the most overpowered combos in the game (but Alchemy is just Over Powered). An easy +1 from me for an excellent build.

This is a cool concept! I love the Become Ethereal shout (so much so, in fact, that I've avoided it in my last few builds because I found that I relied on it so heavily)... it is just a fantastic utilitarian shout, and this build makes it offensive as well as defensive.

At first I was thinking that this might become a little dull (stand around and wait for folks to die), but for me a bit of roleplay does an awful lot to keep a build like this interesting, and if you do more than just exclusively adventuring and looking for fights, it makes those adventures you find yourself in much more enjoyable.

Overall, this is a great demonstration of what you can do with these two skill trees and a shout, but I really can see myself enjoying it as more than just a foray into some skill schools as well :D

Glad you like it! It's true, Become Ethereal is useful in so many situations and builds, but it is easy to get addicted to it :)

I thought it would be interesting to do a build based around each shout (maybe not ALL of them) but I don't think I have the time for that LOL!

That's a ton 'o builds xD It WOULD be cool to do, say, 5 builds that are centered on interesting shouts or that use the shouts in unique ways. An example would be Paul England's Pit Fighter--an unarmed build that tacks on extra damage via flame cloak, but also relies heavily on Disarm so he can turn melee encounters into hand-to-hand scenarios.
