    Great build, Halifax! Although this now puts me in a bit of a spot because my planned revamp of my Nightblood Rogue build was going to use Vampiric Grip too, and now it'll look like I'm copying you. But honestly, your presentation was so good I don't really mind. It occurred to me that this is basically a Sith Lord build: you've got a lightsaber (Bound Sword) and basically a Force-pull/Force-choke (Vampiric Grip) going on. Plus the whole backstory about a corrupted monk killing his master practically screams "I'm on the Dark Side now." All you'd need are some lightning spells to complete the dynamic. Did you plan this, or am I reading too much into it? I suppose it doesn't matter in the end, the build stands on its own merits regardless. And now I'm rambling, so I'll just end with a hearty "good job" and a virtual slap on the back. Keep up the stellar work!

    I'm pretty sure you don't lose Vampiric Grip when you cure vampirism so long as you don't switch your left-hand spell. You had it right Halifax.

    Oh my! Now that I think of it, it really does sort of imply that, doesn't it?

    Honestly, I wanted to craft a backstory that would justify the use of vampiric grip (rage made manifest), restoration, and the bound sword - whilst complementing the use of the archmage robes, and to some extent, the mask. For me, it was all about the failings of the monastery in reigning in the child, as well as the unfortunate set of events that transpired in giving the "tools" required to the already-disturbed, and highly ambitious individual at hand!  

    To think it actually would end up sounding like that though...oh well! I'm not exactly complaining!

    Cool build Halifax! I've always wanted to use this cool trick, and now that Curse is back we finally have the chance! Something we planned uses it too, but we'll make sure it isn't the same as yours mate; in fact, they only share one or two skills I believe. +1

    Just ran an "emergency" playthrough, Vampiric grip stays even after you cure yourself. Did you uh, change the spell on your left hand by any chance?

    Strangely enough, this time I somehow lacked waterwalking and a fire weakness as well - both before and after it had been cured. Weird.

    Edited the option to cure vampirism back in, tweaked mini-section on waterwalking to show glitch-dependence. I'm actually happier not having as many issues with fire weaknesses now, actually...even though I can't walk on water anymore.

    I was hoping someone would make good use of the Vampiric Grip spell in a build! I had heard of it since Vampire Lord's spells in human form and all, but I've never messed around with it because I haven't made a vampire character since before Dawnguard came out. I really should get around to making a Vampire lord character.

    I heard that when you use Vamp. Grip in your normal form that your character grunts like they take damage, does it become really annoying? Also I'm surprised there's no Alteration in the build though, seems like it'd fit in just fine

    Aheh~ You can add Alteration in if you feel like it! The character would benefit from some armor after all - though the Telekinesis spell in that tree is sort of useless, if you were talking about that. I also wasn't a fan of the short durations gained by the lack of dual casting - considering that your left hand can and will be stuck on "Vampiric Grip" if you don't want to repeat the glitch over and over (It was hard enough for me to get the first time!).

    Besides, I always did sort of find swapping my right-hand spells irritating, so I tried keeping that to a minimum - after all, the more combat is held off, the easier it is to start getting swarmed and taking hits! I also decided to leave it out due to the playstyle not really needing it if done right, considering that most things are very easily zoned, stunned, or kept at bay for both short and long battles (most of which never lasted long)! I do recognize that it'll help you reach level 10 and achieve objectives faster, though, so if a player feels like using it then they'll still have my blessing! :D

    Also, the damage grunts never really annoyed me for some reason. I always liked to think of them as grunts of concentration whilst the Kinetic focused their rage!

    Halli, this is quite the well done build dude, finally a build that uses this awesome glitch. Looks like I'm not the only one to think of using it.

    That's odd, because every time I did it, I lost the Vampiric Grip... Hmm... And no, I didn't change it at all. I went through the entire cure process with it in the appropriate hand and after I got cured, BAM, it disapeared and automatically changed. This was on Patch 1.9....
