I'm on the PC. I'm glad you like the concept, and thanks for the support! Cheers, have fun!

i found some great mods for this type of play through. one that using staves raises the level of that school of magic/one that places a book in the world that lists what each ingredient does. called the alchemist compendium/ one that has a little animation when u harvest ingredients/ and one that gives all potion and poison bottles a nice look.

I think i've heard of the one that raises the magic school when using staves, and if i recall correctly there was also damage scaling and other stuff which ruin the game in my opinion. And for the one that gives potions and poisons better look, it doesn't apply for potions you craft

oh the one i am using is actually part of a skill tree overhaul and there is an option for magic to scale or not which is nice. which poison/potion one did u look at? i am using silly level of detail.

I think we are talking about the same mod, which i never actually used ( i don't like mods much, for reasons unknown, i don't even use the uskp)

Ow, i was talking about "radiant and unique potions and poisons" mod, which looks awesome, yet doesn't make your crafted potions look like that.

i think silly level of detail works for all potions and poisons but i may be wrong. i will have to jump in and see later.

I might give it a shot if it doesn't require skse Also check out "Staves of Skyrim" mod, looks promising.
