A Guide to Creating a Character Profile

It's also an unfortunate reality that we eventually move on from our character to start new ones. Keeping track of saves can be a hassle, and some people do a hard reset, deleting old saves to make room for a new character. A profile can be a great way to preserve a character that you really enjoyed playing, giving you the groundwork to recreate them in the future!

This. My XBL Cloud storage is full of old characters because I always delete all Skyrim data from my hdd before every new playthrough. I've had to use a 16 gig memory stick to handle the overspill, and that only has 6g left.

Thanks! Hope to see one of your characters!

I'm so glad this exists. Without this guide, I'd have no idea where to start with my profiles.

Simple and straight forwards. A great idea, well done on making this addition.

    I have a doubt.

So, i start a character, fill the above fields in detail & as I play along, I update which stage I am in as I go along?

And can I use the same character for use in the Character Build also?

Character profiles are more creative works rather than records of gameplay. You can create a profile for a character that hasn't seen any form of gameplay on your part or one of your characters from any ES games. Profiles can be linked to builds, yes.

Yep, exactly as Lazy explained it. You don't have to "playtest" for a profile.

Is it okay to write this like someone's interviewing your character? I want to get my character's voice down.

This is good, I should have done this for Jake the Orc. I been coming up with alot of interesting things about him and what do does out side of Combat. Sorry about the last part too much D&D videos and tales for this ShyGuy. :) I can still make one for him right? I am also going to do one based on a D&D inspired concept I been having.

That's totally fine, Mitch. This format is just one option :)
