Put in something for why he's in Skyrim. More of a long description than an actual story, but I hope that it's good enough for what you mentioned. Not so much being born in Skyrim as it is being sucked through a portal of some kind and magically transported into a different realm and learns to live and thrive in the new place.

I'm not a huge fan of the whole "magic happened and now suddenly character x is in Skyrim" but you still put in a good story nonetheless, and it gives roleplay justifications for what he's doing in Skyrim. Nicely done.

Interesting take on an equally interesting character. One suggestion I have is using Targe of the Blooded for the shield. The shield is unique, a nice deep brown to mimic Thorin's oak shield, and dwarves are typically bad-asses to begin with. All in all a good look and the bleeding damage from the small "branches" in the center can't hurt.

God the hobbit was a TERRIBLE movie! But I have to admit, when I saw it I thought, "Hey, Thorins outfit looks kinda like Ulfrics clothes!" anyways, +1, because even though I was not satisfied with the film, the hobbit book has to be one of my top favorite fantasy novels. Good job on capturing th spirit of Thorin!

HERACY! HERACY I SAY!!! The Hobbit was a beautiful movie, you really deserve to see it, not that it's in theaters anymore... After seeing it I can't wait for #2 this Winter.
