So I suppose that yes an absurdly long life can be gained through powerful necromancy. i.e. The Dragon Priest, Manimarco etc. However it is somewhat clear that there must be multiple ways.

Necromancy in its many forms is simply, to my eye, the most prevalent example seen in TES, though not the only possibility.

That's a good point about Savos. So if there is life extending magic, is there any specific lore about what that magic is? Aside from the others that have already been mentioned. Vampirism, Lichdom, The Heart of Lorkhan.
