    Hmm, i just noticed that you talk about the Intense flames and aspect of terror combo. However it seems Intense flames is not listed on your perkspread.

    Leon, this is a common misconception — Intense Flames is not necessary for Aspect of Terror's +10/12.5/15 buff to Fire Damage to apply. All you need is Aspect of Terror, and any fire spell (to be more precise, and spell with an effect that has the fear keyword, which includes all fire spells whether or not the player has selected Intense Flames).

    The build doesn't need Intense Flames to benefit from Aspect of Terror, which is why Mason didn't take that perk or discuss it in the writeup.

    Don't you also have to take both augment perks before selecting AOT to get the full +15 buff? Or is that a misconception as well?

    Can't remember, I used to just take the perk quickly for the powerful Flame Cloak...and freaking AMAZING ignite (so broken).

    You do need to take the Augment perks beforehand.

    Wow, I've probably never even seen it running at its full power then...

    Me and Teccam did actually do some experimenting with the Intense Flames perk, it even works on Alduin! (yeah you can make the fucker run away from you)

    I don't believe it works until an enemy is at least 10% 15% health though, not the 20% advertised....it never seemed to kick in at a useful time.

    Deep Freeze continues to be the best specialist perk in my opinion...

    Yeah, the amount of Augmented Flames perks you have taken prior to picking up Aspect of Terror is what determines the buff. You get +10 damage if you had no Augmented Flames perks, +12.5 if you had 1/2 Augmented Flames, and +15 if you had both Augmented Flames perks at the moment when you took Aspect of Terror.
