    Thanks Al

'Tis a pity some members of this site seem unable to share such a sentiment

I echo Paul's sentiments. Your comment was very refreshing to read.

Even though I could get it for free on steam since I have all the DLCs, I just don't see the point unless they upgraded it to 64bit and DX11/12 (which I highly doubt).

Forgive me for the silly question, I got this news right now. So what is exactly Skyrim Remastered? Is Skyrim with some enhanced graphics mods included? So what's the difference between buying Skyrim Legendary Edition and install some enhanced graphics mods and Skyrim Remastered? Frankly, I see none. And even if console players can install mods, do they have access to ALL mods from Skyrim Nexus and Steam? Also I just hope they DON'T fix the glitches from the original Skyrim, such as using potion of fortify restoration to enhance the powers of standing stones or else builds like Celestial Warlock simply won't work.

You've opened my eyes, and alas I see. People will be anything. Even if they already own it.

Jeez man. Who pissed in your Cheerios this morning? Also I guess now would be a bad time to reveal that I bought both the console and PC version of Skyrim.

For PC users, it might not make much of a difference. Right now we know it involves a graphic upgrade and added modding capabilities for next gen consoles. As far as compatibility of all mods being supported likely not(...?) but Modders will understand this better than I will. We're not 100% sure if it'll include glitch fixes or not at this point... so that information is all yet to be had.

It's funny, I wasn't expecting nor necessarily hoping for this remaster, but now that I know it's coming I'm really excited. I played the original on 360, but to have access to mods like frostfall on ps4 would be awesome. I also hope that they add a bit of extra content. I doubt it'll happen, but maybe a tiny corner in northern Hammerfell with a quest or two, something hinting at the location of TES 6. Either way, I'm forcing myself to go on a Skyrim hiatus for the rest of the summer, so I'm not burned out by October.

Console players won't have access to ANY mods from Nexus or Steam. The available mods will be on Bethesda.net
