I left my Skyforge sword unenchanted so I could use Elemental Fury with it, increasing its attack speed and placing a +10 magic damage enchant on it temporarily. As for being a werewolf I think it would fit in better with the Crusader path - you're already dealing with a Daedric Prince (Meridia) and Hircine (the patron of werewolves) doesn't really have conflicting interests/goals with Meridia. Plus you can have your summons backing you up in combat while you're in wolf form! For roleplay though I'd avoid eating the hearts of innocents (like people that were killed by bandits for example).
