Question/Disscussion about Carry Weight

Before all, I am not sure that what I'm about to do is legal, but couldn't find any rules as my only access is my phone. I apologize if I did something wrong, if so feel free to delete the thread and punish me as required. Okay, so maybe what I'm about to ask or suggest has been already proved wrong before, or maybe right, perhaps even no one ever thought about checking it up. Anyway I could find nothing about it. Basicly we all know how armor type affects the PC's (player character) sprinting speed. Heavy drains it faster, Light allows for decent sprinting distance and cloth allows you to run and run and run... From here on, everything I say(write) is my assumptions only, and most likely to be wrong or inaccurate, treat them as such. I've noticed that depends on both armor and weapon type, the required stamina for one single standing power attack is changed. I used more stamina power attacking using battleaxe wearing heavy armor than doing the same thing with clothing. Also, it seems as the overall weight of my character's equipment affect my stamina usage while sprinting or power attacking. I tend to run around without my helm and shield equiped, I almost sure that extends my sprinting time. After all that, I've decided to further check carry weight effects. Here are my conclusitions (again, I assume that, as that how it looks in my PC game) 1. Overall equipment speed effects the swing speed of regular attacks, very slightly but noticable enough (I prefer technical fighting, and trying to fight no as stupid brute, I won't add on it here it's still incomplete) 2. Overall weight of inventory does in fact affects your moving speed. As test I changed timescale via console comnands to 4 and fast traveled from Whiterun front gate(outside) to the stables twice. One time with 100/320 weight and the second time with 319/320 weight. First time arraived 1 game minute faster than second time. For now that's all I have checked using only the game without modding or glitching(none that I'm aware of) I have no creation kit or anything that can give additional hidden info so it based only on timer in-game and me looking on my stamina bar. Has anyone checked that before and / or has proved information regarding those assumptions? If not, how can that be verified? If at all... Would appriciate someone checking it with creation kit or whatever thing you test those stuff on. Also, if possible, would like to hear your thoughts about this matter :) Have a great day, Nik

As far as I know, armor only affects sprinting speed and stamina usage. Power attacks are independent of armor and cost the same no matter what you wear. I'm not sure about inventory weight. From my experience it doesn't affect speed at all, but enemies seemed to notice me easier when I had near to complete encumbrance.

Well here is something I've never noticed. I can retake the walking speed test with my warrior again, though I believe results may not be accurate as I have conditioning now..
