2H = Two Handed, yeah you can block with it but it feels kind of pointless to invest perk points into Block when you're going 2H... or maybe it's just me, don't know.

I use block when fighting with a 2H, but by block I mean the option to block attacks not the perks '^'
If I have perks to spend, Block is my lowest priority at all times.

I have never perked block myself either, but I gotta admit that cos of James' latest argument on bash got me interested in making a light armor blocker.
Haven't gotten very far with that yet but anyway.. It seems to me that the perk tree is divided for shields and weapons in terms of efficiency. Bashing with 2H weapons can do insane amounts of dmg as James pointed out.

I've found it to be an absolute blast!
The block perk 'Block Runner' works wonders for 2H blocking, however it comes at the cost of two perks you can't take advantage of. Bashing with a 2H weapon can do absolutely devestating damage and with the Runner perk you are able to have your block up for the entire engagement.

I stand behind my assumption. While it is very true that a lot of people use HA with 2H, I would wager a tidy sum that many (if not most) of them will be doing so with a very high armour rating, if not maxed, and will likely also be using block.
If someone is using HA with a low armour rating (and I mean low, not 'kinda low') then they will see some benefit from this perk, but it will come at a cost.

Thanks for the break down! I am currently playing a new character, concentrating on Heavy Armor, Blocking, Two-Handed and Smithing and was wondering if I needed to work toward "Reflect Blows". Now I know it is not worth it. I'll stick to "Slow Time", "Quick Reflexes" and swinging a Greatsword with 2 Sec. Paralyze. Never let them hit you.

It's such a shame that the character's that can actually take the perk likely benefit the least from it. Slowtime and quick reflexes are insanely OP, have fun!
